Work by Jason Padgett, a man with Acquired Savant Syndrome who now sees all of reality as mathematical fractals describable by equations.
About:
The beauty of numbers and their connection to the pure geometry of space time and the universe is shown in his fractal diagrams…He is currently studying how all fractals arise from limits and how E=MC2 is itself a fractal. When he first started drawing he had no traditional math training and could only draw what he saw as maths. Eventually a physicist saw his drawings and helped him get traditional mathematics training to be able to describe in equations the complex geometry of his drawings. He is currently a student studying mathematics in Washington state where he is learning traditional mathematics so he can better describe what he sees in a more traditional form. Many of the captions were written before he had any traditional maths training. His drawing of E=MC^2 is based on the structure of space time at the quantum level and is based on the concept that there is a physical limit to observation which is the Planck length. It shows how at the smallest level, the structure of space time is a fractal…So sit back and enjoy the beauty of naturally occurring mathematics in pure geometric form connecting E=MC2 (energy) to art. All are HAND DRAWN using only a pencil, ruler and compass.

Silk
Two highly-polished generative drawing web toys by Yuri Vishnevsky.
New Silk is symmetrical drawing - simple, yet the results are satisfying.
Silk turns your input into a beautiful flow that travels to the side.

Chiaroscuro (Étude Op. 3, No.3) by Sougwen
Installation where drawing and projection meet to create a different experience - video embedded below:
Chiaroscuro (Étude Op. 3, No.3) from sougwen on Vimeo.
Ink on paper | Projection & LEDs | 8ft x 5.5ft | 2012
Chiaroscuro is an installation piece that utilizes light as an artifice of visual perception. It explores the interplay of light and shadow on a dimensional drawing form. Strata of abstract, monochromatic line-work are suspended on a wall, giving off the illusion that lines themselves are extending beyond the flat plane. Coils of light are nested asymmetrically within the form, responding to the variations of sound in the environment and illuminating the surface with a pulsing ambiance. Projected light is mapped onto the exterior from a distance, revealing and obscuring the piece throughout the course of the installation.
Exhibited at “Of Art and Artifice” hosted by Ghostly International at The Art Directors Club Gallery in NYC.

Sougwen Chung - High Tide (Étude Op. 2, No. 4)
“Étude Op.2, No 1-4 is the second opus in an ongoing series of meditations on form and memory. The Études’ deliberately minimal approach alludes to an abstract narrative of loss and revival. The themes in succession: Cocoon, Bloom, Flight, High Tide. Formal variation, restrained palettes, and austere compositions invite the viewer into intricately textured worlds that echo beyond the surface of the image. Drawing informs the character of this series of Études. The dimensional form and composition of each piece is inspired by textures and elements within an original series of improvisational graphite drawings, preserving a sense of immediacy in the final pieces.”
